Scope
This policy applies to purchases made on samuli.co and related subdomains (including shop.samuli.co), and to courses delivered via our third-party checkout platform SamCart.
Digital products are final sale
Due to the instant, non-returnable nature of digital content, all sales of digital products are final once access has been granted to your SamCart account or download link. We do not offer “try & return” on downloadable files, courses, or templates.
EU/EEA right of withdrawal
If you are an EU/EEA consumer, by choosing immediate access at checkout you expressly consent to the performance of the digital content and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once access begins (Directive (EU) 2019/2161 and national implementations). If you prefer to keep the statutory withdrawal right, do not start access until 14 days have passed and contact us first—note that in that case delivery will be delayed until the withdrawal period ends.
Subscriptions & cancellations
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected term until cancelled.
- You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals. No prorated refunds are offered for the current billing period unless required by law.
- Free trials convert to paid plans at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Exceptions where refunds may be issued
While purchases are final, we may provide a refund or credit at our discretion in the limited cases below. Requests must be made within 14 days of purchase and before substantial use, unless otherwise noted:
- Duplicate purchase/charge: accidental identical orders for the same product.
- Technical failure on our side: you cannot access the product due to a verified platform error and we cannot resolve it within 7 days of your support request.
- Fraud/unauthorized payment: with supporting documentation from your payment provider.
- Misdescription error: the delivered product materially differs from the description (minor changes or updates do not qualify).
We cannot refund where the product has been accessed, downloaded, or substantially consumed, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
How to request a refund
Contact us at me@samuli.co with: your order email, order ID, product name, purchase date, and a brief explanation. Screenshots or error messages help us resolve faster. Refunds for eligible SamCart orders are processed through SamCart.
Chargebacks & disputes
If you believe a charge is in error, please contact us first—we can usually resolve issues quickly. Initiating a chargeback for a valid, delivered digital product may result in immediate suspension of account access while we investigate. We provide evidence of delivery and access to the payment processor for illegitimate chargebacks.
Processing time & method
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
- Processing time: typically 5–10 business days after approval; your bank or card issuer may take longer.
- Prices are shown in the selected checkout currency. Taxes (e.g., VAT/GST) shown at checkout are included or added as applicable and are refunded only where required by law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our products or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date below. Material changes will apply to purchases made after the effective date.
